My name is Lily, and although I am a timid little mouse by appearance, I do love a bit of adventure. And since I am kind-of a pampered girl…so bam! That’s how I got the name of this page’s domain.

*You just need to know that I love reading. A Class-A nerd but that’s what I am known for. I admire the deep intellectual writings by Richard Dawkins, the lyrical beauty of Haruki Murakami and classic genius that is Jane Eyre. My bookshelf has a good mix of classics to science fiction to chick lit to self-help to spiritual to fantasy to…well, you get the idea.
*My secret vice is romance novels. Harlequin is my favorite and I collect them proudly.
* I’m a writer. I write a lot of things and my style changes depending on who I am influenced by. So far JK Rowling, Robert Jordan, Jodi Picault and romance novels shaped my literary ability
* Currently I write for a magazine, ala Ugly Betty.
*I am a big foodie. I force myself to swim and jog so I can eat! Assortment of favourite food include chilli pan mee at Face to Face or Super Kitchen, mango loh at KTZ, any mango pudding, prawn mee at Paramount Garden, carbonara at Dave’s, the foie gras at Sage, char kuey teow at Lorong Selamat Penang, pork noodles at Brickfield’s….well, you get the idea.
*I love my family, friends and boyfriend very much. I might love the hustle of the city, but I am a small town girl at heart.
